Sobre el puesto

As the HR Director at Accentrust, you will play a strategic role in shaping our people and culture strategy. You will design and oversee programs that support our growth, ensure compliance with Canadian employment standards, and foster an inclusive and high-performance culture. This role offers the opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up while remaining hands-on where needed in a fast-paced startup environment.

Podrías prosperar en este puesto si tienes

  • At least eight (8) years of progressive HR experience in the United States or Canada, including a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership or manager capacity
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a closely related field
  • Strong knowledge of North American employment legislation, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management
  • Experience building HR frameworks and policies in fast-growing organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Prior experience in a startup or scaling organization
  • CHRP, SHRM, or other recognized HR certifications
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, data analytics, and digital HR tools
  • Exposure to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and programs
  • Experience in the technology or software development industry
  • Knowledge of Canadian provincial employment standards across multiple provinces
  • Experience with international hiring and remote work policies
