Accentrust

Terms of Use

Effective: September 1, 2025 (supersedes prior versions)

Thank you for your interest in Accentrust.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Accentrust's websites, software applications, and individual-use services (collectively, the "Services"), including our AI-native suite: Fabric, Guard, Studio, and Signals. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Accentrust on behalf of a business, your use may be governed by our Business Terms (for enterprise subscriptions, paid pilots, and APIs). If the Business Terms conflict with these Terms, the Business Terms control for the conflicting subject matter.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Although it is not part of these Terms, it is an important document you should read.

If you reside in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the UK, additional regional terms may apply.

Who we are

Accentrust Inc. ("Accentrust", "we", "us") builds AI-native data infrastructure and decision systems. Registered offices: 2910 Virtual Way, Vancouver, BC V5M 4X6, Canada; 333 W San Carlos St, San Jose, CA 95110, USA. Contact: legal@accentrust.com.

Registration and access

Minimum age

You must be at least 14 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Account

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you create an account for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Corporate domains

If you register with an email owned by your employer or another organization, we may, upon that organization's verified request, associate your account with its enterprise workspace. Its administrators may then control the account (including access to Content, defined below).

Using our Services

What you may do

Subject to these Terms and all applicable laws, Accentrust grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your own internal purposes.

What you may not do

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, or in violation of others' rights.
  • Copy, modify, host, sell, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Services, except as expressly allowed.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code, models, or algorithms, except to the extent permitted by law.
  • Bypass rate limits, safety systems, or access controls; interfere with the Services' integrity or availability.
  • Automatically scrape or harvest data or Output (defined below) except via documented APIs and allowed export functions.
  • Present AI-generated Output as human-generated without disclosure where the context reasonably requires it.
  • Use the Services or Output to develop models or services that compete with Accentrust where prohibited by law or contract.

Software & third-party services

The Services may include downloadable software (which may auto-update) and open-source components under their own licenses. The Services may interoperate with third-party products or include third-party outputs. Those are governed by their own terms, and Accentrust is not responsible for them.

Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation.

Content and data

Your Input and Output

You may provide Input (prompts, files, data) and receive Output generated by the Services. Collectively, Input and Output are "Content." You are responsible for your Content and represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions.

Ownership

As between you and Accentrust, you retain ownership of your Input. To the extent permitted by law, you own the Output we generate for you, and we hereby assign to you our right, title, and interest in Output, if any. Because AI outputs can be similar across users, your Output may resemble others' output.

Accuracy & human review

AI systems are probabilistic and may generate incomplete, inaccurate, or offensive Output. You must evaluate Output for your use case (including human review where appropriate) and must not use Output about a person to make decisions with legal or material impact (e.g., credit, employment, housing, insurance, medical, legal decisions) without separate, lawful processes.
