About the role
As an Engineering Intern focusing on Systems & Infrastructure, you'll gain valuable experience in building scalable, reliable systems while learning from experienced engineers. This internship offers exposure to modern development practices, cloud technologies, and the opportunity to work on projects that impact how organizations interact with AI and data. You'll be mentored throughout your journey and have the chance to grow your skills in a supportive startup environment.
You might thrive in this role if you have
- •Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field
- •Strong foundation in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar)
- •Basic understanding of web development concepts and technologies
- •Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- •Understanding of basic computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms)
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- •Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- •Self-motivated with eagerness to learn new technologies
- •Legally eligible to work in Canada
It's a bonus if you have
- •Previous internship or project experience in software development
- •Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
- •Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)
- •Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- •Understanding of basic networking and system administration concepts
- •Contributions to personal or open-source projects
- •Coursework or projects involving system design or distributed systems
