About the role
As a DevOps Engineer at Accentrust, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and operating the infrastructure that powers our AI-native data products. This role requires both architectural thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring our platform is reliable, scalable, and secure as we grow. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while helping shape the future of data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
You might thrive in this role if you have
- •5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- •Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related field
- •Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred)
- •Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
- •Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, service meshes)
- •Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Go)
- •Familiarity with observability stacks (metrics, logging, tracing)
- •Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles: secrets management, SAST/DAST integration, least privilege
- •Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation)
- •Excellent communication and documentation skills with service-oriented approach
- •Legally eligible to work in Canada
It's a bonus if you have
- •Experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment
- •Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises integration
- •Familiarity with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 controls and compliance automation
- •Hands-on experience with serverless or event-driven architectures
- •Professional certifications: CKA/CKAD, Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Security Plus
- •Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack
- •Knowledge of service mesh technologies and microservices architecture
